Join artist Kirsty Fate for a extra special Christmas workshop where we'll be creating handcrafted Christmas Wreaths from a mix of new and recycled paper.
With a large selection of material options and plenty of scope for children to create their own special decoration, personal to them.
No previous experience is necessary – just a willingness to learn, a little patience and a love of making!
Date: Wednesday 16th December 2026
Time: 9am – 12noon
Location: Newmarket State School, K Block, Level 1 Balcony
Cost: $75 per child (includes all materials and morning tea)
Ages: 6–12 years
This workshop is suited to children who enjoy making and creating and are comfortable working independently with guidance.
LIMITED SPACES – ONLY 12 SPOTS AVAILABLE!
All materials, tools, embellishments and supplies needed to create their wreaths.
Morning tea, including things like fresh fruit, popcorn and an ice block will be provided. Please let me know about any dietary requirements when booking.
All welcome: You do not need to be a student at Newmarket State School to attend.
Decoration: There will be enough supplies for each child to create one large wreath to take home. Depending on how quickly they work, children may also have the opportunity to make additional paper-based decorations during the session. If a child doesn't finish their wreath within the workshop time, they'll be able to take their remaining supplies home to complete it.
Drop-off & Collection: Please drop children off at 9am sharp and collect them promptly at 12noon.
Workshop Space: Please note that our workshop takes place on a balcony. Children will be required to remain within our designated workshop space for the duration of the session.
Cancellations by Participants: If you are unable to attend, please let me know as soon as possible. If there is a waitlist and your place can be filled, I may be able to offer a refund but only if a replacement booking is secured. If there is no waitlist or your place cannot be filled, refunds will not be provided.
Cancellations by Kirsty: If the workshop needs to be cancelled by Kirsty for any reason, all participants will be notified and a full refund provided.
Multiple Bookings Welcome: Children are welcome to book for multiple days, and siblings are more than welcome! Please note that my website platform only allows one booking per transaction, so you will need to complete a separate transaction for each child and/or booking day. Thank you for your understanding!
